Hello! I’m Ryan Scott Taylor—an IT specialist, author, and creator passionate about technology, storytelling, and sharing knowledge. Whether you’re here to explore my skills, read my latest insights, or discover my works, I’m excited to welcome you to my journey.
My story began in the quiet town of Middleburg, South Africa, where I first discovered my love for technology. From those humble beginnings, I’ve navigated the complexities of technology, business, and global connection, building radio networks and securing digital landscapes with Shaark.net. My career took me across continents, connecting them through projects like MTN, WACS, and EASSY, proving that nothing is impossible with determination. I’ve also contributed to ethical leadership and sustainable growth through ventures like OSIbytes, the whimsical Mr. Giggles children’s series, and the MDH South Africa project. Today, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Information Systems at the University of Utah, building on a Bachelor’s in Computer Information Technology and over 13 professional certifications, including a FEMA-accredited Cyber Security Defense Certification.

I’m driven by a pursuit of knowledge and supported by the unwavering patience and encouragement of my family—Lauren, Erin-May, and Colton—along with my parents, in-laws, and many influential individuals who’ve been a constant source of strength. Through it all, my faith has been a guiding principle, shaping my approach to leadership and my commitment to ethical practices as I strive to inspire and connect with others.
